The original 18-hole layout was designed by Graham Cooke and opened in 2000, stretching to 7,253 yards at a par 72. The course makes a deliberate transition in character across its two nines: the front plays through parkland terrain, while the back nine shifts to links-style holes along the strait's shoreline.
The signature moment on the back nine arrives at the 16th, a 171-yard par 3 played directly along the Northumberland Strait.
