Osprey Ridge Golf Club sits on the outskirts of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, a mid-sized South Shore town roughly an hour's drive southwest of Halifax. Designed by Graham Cooke and opened in 1998, the course is an 18-hole, par-72 layout stretching to 6,800 yards through a stretch of Acadian forest that defines the region.
The terrain rolls consistently throughout, and the fairways are framed by mature tree lines that demand accurate driving off the tee. Elevation changes add variety to the round, while large, undulating greens put a premium on approach placement and putting touch. Water hazards come into play on ten of the eighteen holes, so course management is a recurring consideration. Fifty-four sand traps are distributed across the property, reinforcing a layout that rewards thoughtful shot selection over raw power.
